Spam emails that spread Trojans

A large portion of spam these days is sent through compromised third party computers, so called "spambots" or "zombies". Using clever social engineering, the spammers trick people into clicking on attachments or links that then execute a program which installs unwanted software on their computers.

• Hacked sites hosting Storm Trojans
• Trojans from fake greeting card emails
• Trojan spam targetting Brazilians
• "Il video del mio compleanno" trojan spam
• Fake T-Com invoices (Trojans, 2005)
