Scam domain antiquitaeten-schwaighofer.com (created 2005-01-21)
The "Antiquitaeten-Schwaighofer GmbH" fake job offer is part of a series of scams designed to trick third parties into assisting the criminal laundering of stolen money. The prime suspects are organized crime rings from Eastern Europe.
The website "antiquitaeten-schwaighofer.com" is a rip-off of http://www.antiquitaeten-schwaighofer.at, an antique dealer in Salzburg, Austria, who has no connection whatsoever to the scam.
The latest scam has many similarities to the alpenantiqe.com, ultra-co.com and a-i-c-d.org frauds. For example, the website is a copy of an existing legitimate website, with the addition of a job offer page. As in the "Alpen Antique" and "Ultraco S.A." scams the website is hosted by Yahoo, Inc.
